DAUGHTERS AT THE TABLE

Each gathering flows with ease:

  1. Welcome + Breathe
    Gentle settling of the heart.

  2. A Question for the Soul
Example: “What is one thing your heart needs today?”

  3. Scripture Reflection
A short, simple word — not a sermon.

  4. Sharing (only if you want to)
No pressure, no forcing, no spotlight.

  5. Prayer of Rest and Blessing
Covering each woman with peace and strength.

  6. We Close with Peace
    Not hype.
Just quiet confidence in God’s care.

Closing Statement

At this table, you are seen.
You are safe.
You are welcome.
You are beloved.

Eating together is one of the oldest forms of fellowship.

In Scripture, healing, covenant, and community were always formed around a table:

  • Not a stage

  • Not a pulpit

  • A table

A place where people sat face to face, not above or beneath one another.

When we eat together — even through a screen — we are doing something holy:
We are sharing life.

Food slows the heart.
Conversation softens the soul.
Being “at the table” says:

“I sit with you, not over you. I walk with you, not ahead of you.”

This table:

  • Restores belonging where life created isolation

  • Restores sisterhood where wounds created distrust

  • Restores connection where survival created numbness

We don’t just eat food here.
We eat:

  • Peace

  • Presence

  • Understanding

  • Comfort

  • Hope

We eat knowing:
I am not alone anymore.
I have sisters.

What is Daughters at the Table?

Daughters at the Table is a monthly online breakfast or brunch gathering for women who desire rest, connection, and quiet healing in the presence of God. We meet together — each in our own home, with our own breakfast — and we gather not to perform, teach, impress, or pretend… but to breathe.
A gentle space where the soul can exhale.
We come together as daughters, not roles. Not titles. Not expectations.
Just daughters sitting at the Father’s table.

Purpose

To create a safe, nurturing, and spiritually refreshing atmosphere where women can:

  • Be seen and heard without judgment

  • Experience peace instead of pressure

  • Reconnect with their identity in God

  • Rest in God’s presence among sisters

This is not a Bible study. Not a networking event. Not a church service. This is sacred community.

Our Mission

To restore dignity, honor, and belonging to women by making room for:

  • Quiet healing

  • Gentle encouragement

  • Wise conversation

  • God’s presence to speak and settle the heart

We do not fix each other. We simply sit together — and God does the healing.
